Along Came September....
Justin Randolph - Vocals/Guitar
Kevin Willoughby - Guitar
Josh Griffin - Bass
Travis Daugherty - Drums
ACS is from Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. Josh and Kevin are brothers, and Travis is the cousin of those two. Justin is just a good friend not family.
The Formation of ACS
Josh met Justin in his seventh grade year and became good friends since then. In Josh's ninth grade year, the two decided two make a band. At that time josh played drums. Chance Robinson Played bass. The band was call Something Called Nothing.
The band broke up due to the second guitarist Brandon Schmidt.
Josh and Justin still wanted to be in a band. So they set out to look for a new bass player. With no luck and Josh's talent on bass, they decided to have Josh play bass and find a drummer. After trying a couple of drummers they found Josh's cousin, Travis Daugherty to play drums.
They had their band. They decided on the name Good Mourning September. Until they found out that a Christian Rock band had the same name. So after a few days of hard thinking of band names such as...
Gun Bunny, bringing back Something called Nothing and Along Came September.
...they decided on Along CAme September.
November 4th was their first show.
After the Josh they decided they need a second guitarist to liven up their sound. Right then Josh thought about his little brother Kevin Willoughby. Justin had to give him a try before letting him in.
The day he tried out was the happiest day for Justin, he about had a heart attacked after hearing what this 13 yearold could do.
We now have a show coming up in Febuary. We are anxious to see how Kevin does at his first show.
